Just an hour west of Las Vegas, is Pahrump, home to Nevada Southern Detention Center and TransCor’s Nevada regional field office. Near the Nevada-California border, the Nye County town of Pahrump is popular with outdoors enthusiasts, military veterans, and other adventure seekers. In Pahrump, TransCor and CoreCivic are major employers and providers of security and transportation careers.

Located at Nevada Southern Detention Center, the TransCor team provides daily transportation for detainees to Las Vegas, and weekly trips to areas including Phoenix, Tucson, Pinal, Reno, Mendota, and other regional depots. Occasional trips to other destinations throughout the United States’ Southwest region are also performed.
