2025 National Correctional Officers and Employees Week
Dear Team TransCor,
On May 5, 1984, President Ronald Reagan signed Proclamation 5187, establishing "National Correctional Officers’ Week." Since then, the first full week of May has been a time to honor the dedicated work of correctional officers, probation officers, and correctional personnel nationwide. This year, TransCor proudly observes National Correctional Officers and Employees Week from May 4-10, 2025.
As an inmate transportation service provider, TransCor is rightfully proud to recognize our employees’ contributions to public service within the field of corrections. By virtue of our fortunate association with CoreCivic and the many shared duties and responsibilities of Transportation Officers and Correctional/Detention Officers, we take time this week to recognize the exceptional professionals who work to ensure the safety and security of our teams, our communities, and those entrusted to our care.
In particular, we applaud those who serve within Team TransCor, CoreCivic, and our many government partners. This occasion is a great opportunity for each of us to shine a spotlight on the achievements and dedication of our colleagues. All of you — Transportation Officers, Clinical Services professionals, Central Office support staff, and more — play a vital role in fulfilling TransCor's mission of providing the highest quality of safe and secure prisoner transportation services. Whether you are one of our uniformed officers or a support staff member who supports our mission, we celebrate our success because of each of you. It’s an honor to serve alongside you.
On behalf of the Executive Leadership Team, thank you for choosing this career and for your continued commitment to excellence.
Happy Correctional Officers' and Employees Week!
Sincerely,
Curtiss D. Sullivan
