Veterans Day 2022

Team TransCor,

On Friday, November 11, we as a country will rightfully honor the selfless sacrifices of men and women who served in the American Armed Forces.

Like so many, Veterans Day is always a day of reflection for me. I often think of those generations that came before us — who served valiantly in the battles, conflicts, and wars of their generation — and those still on active duty today. Personally, I am deeply humbled to have had the privilege of serving nearly half my life in service to our country. I am honored to have served alongside so many outstanding individuals throughout my military career, and I am further honored to continue working among so many incredible service men and women at TransCor and CoreCivic. An impressive 18 percent of current TransCor employees have or are presently serving in the United States military (see list). We are deeply grateful and proud of their service. Furthermore, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the significant sacrifices of the often overlooked heroes… the families of those who serve and have served.

In honor of Veterans Day, I encourage all of us to take a moment to thank a veteran for his or her selfless service to our nation — an act of generosity that we can never repay. It is because of them that we enjoy freedoms as Americans.

Happy Veteran's Day!

Sincerely,

Curt Sullivan
President, TransCor America
