Thanksgiving with Gratitude
Team TransCor,
As Thanksgiving Day quickly approaches, I'm kindly reminded of what busy times in which we all live and work. We’re fortunate to have a very connected society with endless information and countless things to keep us busy both personally and professionally. Within TransCor, we’re entrusted with a tremendous responsibility that requires a high level of focus and action. Amid the busyness, it’s important to not lose sight of the things deserving of our gratitude.
Daily, our team manages thousands of inmates and detainees. Our team also works for and alongside numerous colleagues, government partners, and law enforcement professionals. Beyond that, we also navigate among countless others on America's winding highways and roads. That results in multitudes of interactions and critical decisions every day. The fact that essentially all of those “ordinary” moments go well can make us miss the truly extraordinary nature of what’s accomplished.
Daily, I’m amazed by what you accomplish. Toward those facing their own personal difficulties, your professionalism remains steadfast. The dignity you show others is life-changing. Your sound judgement safeguards others. And at work and in the community, you give of yourselves above and beyond the call of duty. In our team, I see heroism every day. It would be difficult to overstate the importance of what you do. While big moments and rare mistakes often capture attention, every moment is significant. It’s in the “ordinary” tasks, interactions, and decisions that you make an extraordinary difference.
Thank you for all you do. It’s my honor to serve alongside you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Curt Sullivan
