Announcing the Hero Bonus Program

Dear Team TransCor,

I hope that you and your loved ones remain safe and in good health during this challenging time. My thoughts continue to be with you and those who have been directly affected by COVID-19. As we adjust to an evolving and new work environment, our primary concern remains the health and safety of our staff and those entrusted to our care.

During challenging times we all know that performance requires resilience. And it's resilience that we need most when we're faced with the likes of a worldwide pandemic. This is a time when we demonstrate our resolve in extraordinary ways that brings out the best in us, during the worst of times.

To this point, I'm exceedingly proud of our frontline unformed workforce and the Central Office staff who continue to provide critical infrastructure services and support to those we serve. In difficult circumstances such as this, I appreciate more than ever the mission-driven focus and dedication of our employees. There is a quote that reads, “heroes don’t have the need to be known as heroes, they just do what heroes do because it's right and it must be done.” I believe that this quote accurately portrays our frontline staff and the Central Office support staff being the wind at their back. It is why we were so proud last week to follow CoreCivic's lead of awarding the Hero Bonus Program to all of our uniformed staff. 

As part of the Critical Infrastructure Industry, our company is unique in not experiencing furloughs or service interruptions. Instead, our employees continue to provide a valuable role in the service we provide to CoreCivic and their partners every day. I want you to know that the leadership team appreciates everything you do every day, but especially during this challenging time. We can’t thank you enough for your continued commitment to excellence. 

I look forward to the time in the near future when we can meet in person again. Until then, please continue to stay actively engaged with your supervisors by working together and supporting one another.

Together we will get through this.
