Dear Team TransCor,

During these unprecedented times I welcome the opportunity to reflect on my continued pride in all that you are doing to support our mission. I recognize the current situation around COVID-19 can at times be unnerving. And as our personal and professional lifestyles continue to adjust to change, many are balancing the concerns that we all share for our families and friends, our own health, as well as the changes to our lives inside and outside of work.

There has been no part of our organization that is untouched by this public health emergency. And yet you continue to stand tall. It is in times like this that I find strength in the dedication and convictions of those I have the privilege to work alongside — you.

Working in this industry, especially in a time like this, is nothing short of honorable. I'm mindful of the commitment that you have made, and not only do I acknowledge it, I never want to take it for granted.

I also want to extend a special note of gratitude to all of those who volunteered for temporary assignments to assist with critical staff vacancies and the population ramp up at Cimarron Correctional Facility.

As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, I am most thankful for you. Please be safe, do your part to protect yourself and each other, and enjoy the holiday.
